Did you know that each and every pendant and hairclip I make is individually shaped?
From start to finish, my process keeps each piece unique and one of a kind. Even if I use a similar shape or pattern, I carefully choose each piece on veneer, considering grain direction and wood type (or color), and then shape each piece on my sander, so that no two pieces are the same.
That means that even if you ask me to recreate a pendant design, it will still be a unique piece!
I find this type of process very rewarding because I am creating not manufacturing. I am making individual pieces, not “batches”.
